VinFast Auto India, the Indian arm of global electric vehicle maker VinFast, announced the opening of two showrooms in Hyderabad, further consolidating its footprint in South India. This development follows closely on the heels of the high-profile unveiling of its premium electric SUVs, the VF 6 and VF 7, in Delhi, highlighting the brand’s swift growth in the Indian market.
The two new outlets are strategically sited at Dargah Road and Patigadda, Hyderabad, Telangana. With a 3,300 sq. ft. display space in the Dargah Road showroom and a 2,700 sq. ft. display space in the Patigadda showroom, the twin dealerships will present VinFast’s premium electric SUVs, the VF 6 and VF 7. As part of its bold plan, the company targets to launch 35 dealerships by year-end, across 27+ cities in India.
Customers can reserve their chosen VinFast premium electric SUV either at the dedicated showrooms or via the official website, with a fully refundable booking amount of INR 21,000.
In line with its pledge to create a strong and customer-focused EV ecosystem in India, VinFast has forged several strategic partnerships across key touchpoints. To bolster vehicle servicing reach, the company has allied with myTVS, one of India’s largest independent multi-brand service networks. It has also partnered with Global Assure to provide 24/7 roadside assistance.
On the EV charging front, VinFast is collaborating with RoadGrid to facilitate accessible charging solutions and is outlining long-term plans with a strategic partner for a dedicated network.
Central to the company’s India approach is its modern manufacturing plant in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, where both the VF 6 and VF 7 will be produced. The factory dovetails with India’s aim of becoming a global manufacturing and export hub. The facility’s proximity to the Port makes it well-positioned to serve both domestic demand and export markets.
Additionally, to advance its sustainability initiatives, the company has teamed up with BatX Energies to promote battery circularity and recycling, reinforcing its dedication to green mobility throughout the product lifecycle.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Pham Sanh Chau, CEO, VinFast Asia, said, With its expanding urban infrastructure and rising EV uptake, Hyderabad is strategically important in our expansion blueprint. The opening of our dealerships here represents another key milestone in our mission to build a resilient EV ecosystem across India. We believe the city’s progressive and sustainability-minded consumers will strongly embrace our vision of premium yet accessible electric mobility.
VinFast brings broad international experience to India, having successfully entered markets across the United States, Canada, Europe, the Philippines, Indonesia, and the Middle East.
