Nayax Ltd., a global commerce enablement and payments platform, today announced a strategic alliance with ChargeSmart EV, one of the fastest-expanding EV charging networks in the United States, to support its ongoing nationwide rollout.
As part of the collaboration, ChargeSmart has designated Nayax as its preferred cashless payments provider, executing a long-term contract to broaden the deployment of Nayax VPOS Touch card readers, with plans to bring thousands of new DC fast chargers online over the coming years.
To further elevate the user experience, ChargeSmart will implement and migrate to Nayax’s eCommerce SDK payment solution, a new EV charging product line that will be officially launched in the United States in the coming weeks, within its mobile application. This creates a genuine omnichannel payment experience that integrates in-app and on-site transactions on a single platform.
This integration removes the need for multiple payment vendors, boosting reliability, streamlining operations, and providing a smooth, consistent experience for both drivers and operators.
“Our partnership with ChargeSmart EV underscores Nayax’s approach to being a leading payment solution for EV charging stations,” said Aaron Greenberg, Chief Strategy Officer, Nayax. “With our established reliability, multi-payment adaptability, and best-in-class uptime, we’re proud to power a network that aligns with our vision for a complete, dependable payment solution and customer experience in the EV charging sector.”
“This alliance with Nayax marks a significant advancement for ChargeSmart,” said Christian Spenziero, Managing Member of ChargeSmart. “Nayax’s omnichannel payment platform delivers the dependability and flexibility required to scale our network across the U.S., while offering drivers a seamless and uniform payment experience, whether at the charger or via our app.”
Through this agreement, Nayax and ChargeSmart seek to improve the accessibility and convenience of public and commercial EV charging infrastructure across the United States, introducing smarter, connected, and more user-friendly solutions to the rapidly expanding U.S. EV ecosystem.
