The SUV’s more affordable rear-wheel-drive variants deliver a claimed 538 km (ARAI) range from its 65 kWh battery pack, and prices for this specification start from Rs 21.49 lakh ex-showroom. Meanwhile, the mid-to-top-spec Harrier.ev with the QWD system and a larger 75 kWh battery offers up to a 622 km claimed range.

3. Mahindra XEV 9e:
Similar to the BE6, its bigger sibling the XEV 9e claims a range of 542 km (MIDC) from its standard 59 kWh battery. Even though it is considerably larger than the BE6, the XEV 9e delivers nearly identical range figures and starts at Rs 21.90 lakh ex-showroom.

4. BYD Sealion 7:
Another entrant in the 500 km+ EV club is the BYD Sealion 7 SUV. It sports a sharp design, premium features and a futuristic cabin. One of the pricier choices on this list, the Sealion 7 offers a claimed 567 km range in its entry-level Premium variant. It comes with a substantially large 82.56 kWh battery pack featuring BYD’s Blade technology. Prices for the Sealion 7 start from Rs 48.90 lakh ex-showroom.

Last but not least, we have the most spacious electric family mover available in the country. While it is equipped with the largest battery on this list at 90 kWh, it claims a 500 km range on a full charge. Offered in a single variant, the MG M9 is priced at Rs 69.90 lakh ex-showroom.
