BYD India Achieves 10000 Electric Vehicle Deliveries Milestone

BYD India has surpassed a major milestone, with over 10,000 electric vehicles now delivered to customers nationwide. BYD noted that this achievement underscores the increasing adoption of electric mobility among Indian consumers and reaffirms BYD’s dedication to cutting-edge EV technology, while advancing its mission of guiding India toward a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future. The company’s present EV lineup in the Indian market comprises the Sealion 7, Atto 3, eMax 7, and the Seal sedan, spanning a wide range of segments to attract different types of buyers.

BYD’s emphasis in India goes well beyond merely selling electric cars; the firm is steadily building a complete EV ecosystem. It has established 44 dealerships across major cities, provides nationwide roadside assistance, extended warranty plans, and has teamed up with Relux Electric to offer convenient and reliable charging infrastructure.

On the global front, BYD has already exceeded 13 million New Energy Vehicle (NEV) sales, averting more than 106.5 billion kilograms of carbon emissions — the equivalent of planting nearly 1.77 billion trees. Its robust international footprint is further highlighted by a brand valuation of USD 14.4 billion, earning a spot among the world’s Top 10 Most Valuable Automotive Brands for three years running.

With the nation’s EV market expanding rapidly, BYD is gearing up to ramp up operations, keeping customer satisfaction at the forefront. Supported by ongoing innovation and a strong support ecosystem, BYD’s objective is to make sustainable mobility both accessible and exciting for Indian buyers in the coming years.

The company also inaugurated its first-ever track, which is also the world’s first all-terrain circuit. Situated in Zhengzhou, it integrates an asphalt circuit, a wet skating track, a cross-country mountain slope, and sandy terrain, and features eight distinctive experience scenarios including snow, ice and more.
